Spent $1200 for a custom pair of cordovan leather Santoni’s. Huge waste of money.
Also paid about $450 for some crispi hunting boots, best footwear I’ve ever owned.

I am generally pretty cheap but not with shoes. Better shoes are simply better for a reason.
Not crazy about it but if I am say buying running shoes, I am getting a name brand, not some walmart knock offs.

"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda
