I Messed Up - Started Fooling Around With A Woman At Gym
I have a strict policy of no fooling around with women at the gym.
Met this one about a year and half ago. She is younger than me and is another Latina. Would come and stretch with me, always chatted me up, hugging, touching, blah, blah. Tried to keep my distance and than I actually started to really like her which was a huge mistake. Gave her a little box of European chocolates at Christmas and she told me she loved me. I thought she was joking....
One night I went out with her and friends. Ended up at my house - smashed and smashed again and again. Bareback no less. Thank god she didnt get pregnant. Havent touched her since.
Than I went to a party and she showed up with this guy. I was really pissed. She came over gave me a big hug and kiss. At one point I was sitting outside and she came over, wanting to know why I was outside. Was chatting me up and the guy was only 25 feet away.
After that I backed way off. Friend told me she has a boyfriend.
Recently we had a convo, she told me she cherished me. And me like an idiot told her that I really liked her. Last week when I saw her, I pretty much ignored her till she came over and said hello.
Not sure what to do as I am now emotionally involved and my guard is down... hit me with opinions.

Was kind of keeping her on the back burner for a year or two down the line when I might be ready to settle down, then Covid happened. I messaged her in 2021, and she said something about how she was getting ready to move to the US to marry some guy so we had to stop talking. Now she's living with some dude in Tennessee.
