why do some good tv shows start off so slowly?
sup brahs hope you're all doin well...
i have been binge watching some series lately and wtf i can't understand if it's just me but...
-breaking bad (started pretty slowly, turned amazing into like season 2-4, then had the best ending i've ever seen in a tv show)
-the sopranos (first season started slow af then got amazing around season 3 and was awesome until the end, even though the ending was sudden)
-game of thrones (currently watching this and on season 3 episode 2... but the first season the first few episodes i fell asleep tbh... but then the ending of the seasons episodes like s01e10 throw in a curveball and make u wanna start the next season immediately...)
can someone name a good show that started off STRONG?
after game of thrones i plan on watching the wire I think, heard that one around season 3 might be one of the best tv show seasons of all time..
please let me know what i should binge after got and the wire please! i literally never used to watch any tv shows and i'm 28 now lol, trying to see some epic tv shows!

Took a couple tries to get thru Ozark and SOA's first couple of episodes, but both ended up being good.
Had the same probelm with GOT.
Not sure if there'll be another season, but Beef on Netflix probably had the grestest pace of any series I've seen.

Vikings is another. First season is slow af.
The reason is they need to fill out at least 10-12 episodes a season and shows don't go into syndication (where the big $ is) until they hit the 5 season mark. Also usually takes most shows a season or two to find their footing.

Seriously Snowfall is one of the best, if not the absolute best shows I've ever seen. Most shows have that "it just needs to die off already" vibe by the time they reach a certain season. This one only gets more badass the longer it goes on.
