Will housing in Florida be corrected any time soon?

Looks like I have to move again. There's #1 no jobs under my position anywhere near where I live and #2 the pay tends to suck. But now I've searched further south on the east coast and while I'm coming up with a few positions and even 1 callback from a recruiter, the cost of housing is outrageous. the renting is pretty bad and even with considerably more income, I won't be a lot further ahead. A little bit but nothing special What's worse is buying. I've looked and I'm worried. It's just not possible to buy living on my own.
I looked in SE Georgia though where it's a hell of a lot more affordable but no jobs for me.

Who knows, I know more than a few people who have been priced out of Florida over the last year or so.

feds not pivoting for another year at least, inflation prints came in hot again last read out, so most likely two more raises this year then holding, this means mortgages will be in the 7-7.5% range, so theoretically prices should come down some, but your monthly payments will be high. all the northeast dikbags moved down and distorted the market something awful in sofla, I'm glad I got my spots down there in the early 2010s, they're paid off now and bringing in rental income.

Of the 17 fastest-hiring states, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 14 voted for Trump in 2020. The top two Biden-voting states, Georgia and Nevada, are probably best classified as purple (Biden-blue Delaware is the other). The 10 slowest-hiring states all went for Biden.

Blue states are falling
Red states are growing
