Unpopular opinion: you can't have a good relationship without having a friendship too

since if the only thing is sexual attraction and you having to "game" the woman, it's basically just a hooker relationship

to have a good relationship, you need the physical attraction aspect obviously, plus you need to be best friends

the idea is absolutely correct.

true friendship = 2 people who can just enjoy each others companies without trying to get anything from the other person.

for a good relationship anyway.

most relationships fail because the 2 end up not being able to tolerate eachother

I can tell you're real pretty OP. You'd make a fine hooker boy.

My wife says we aren't friends, but our marriage is going very well.

I've been married since 2002, and I could see my wife saying something like:

"No, your friends are guys named Jeff and David. I'm your wife."

I tend to agree. Friendship isn't really the right word. It's more of a partnership.

You're not wrong, but there's an order of operations that needs to be taken into account as well. You can't start by building the friendship. You have to start with the romantic relationship first, then over time you build the friendship piece in to sustain it.
