Are Zoos Immoral/Cruel? (Poll) (Joey Smokes)

Chaperoned a field trip today at the Grand Rapids zoo (don’t ever go there, really garbage zoo)

Can’t help but feel bad for the animals there. A snowy owl in an enclosure the size of an en suite bathroom. A lion that has less space than a small elementary school gym. Animals that normally have miles of territory are getting mere feet to live in. It’s hard not to feel bad for them.

On the other side, there’s the conservation angle. A lot of zoos have been instrumental in bringing species on the brink of extinction back to sustainable levels. Tons of research occurs at zoos. there is rehabilitation, outreach, awareness, etc.

Cruel, not, or necessary evil?

PS… Not interested in a Zsoy vegan derailment about eating meat. Stay out cuck

I think it depends. I once went to the Shanghai Zoo and they had a fcking Polar Bear outside fighting for its life in a temped pool at like 90 degrees and 80% humidity.

I also went to the Los Angeles Zoo not long ago visiting some family and all the animals were given what looked like enough space and were curated to thrive in that environment.

Personally I prefer Aquariums because I don’t think you can be cruel to fish. Now also fck a place like Sea World for treating Orcas the way they do.

Based on what? Space for the animals? What other factors?

I agree with the aquarium thing in regards to simple animals like fish/crustaceans. You get into cruel with mammals and sea turtles IMO

Would you like to looked in a 'nice" cage while some retards watch you over 24/7 ?

I think not. All zoos are glorified prisons.

San Diego Zoo and Henry Doorly Zoo are pretty good. Haven't been to a "bad" zoo to compare, don't wanna either.

Fukk you, ****guette. Of course it's cruel to keep animals locked up in a cage for retards to point and take pictures. It's even worse to lock them up in super tight corners, beat them, then kill them for some ****guette like you to get a Big Mac.
Deepfat: "I guarantee I beat you by at least 6 strokes. Afterwards, I'll slide my thick conservative cawk in your old lady just to finish the job."

z4: "So when are you available in September to play?"

Deep: "On second thought, I don't play golf with broads. You're such a scumbag that I'd be much more inclined to just slap the chit out of you."

z4: "MMA match works, too. So when are you available this month?

Deep: "I won't subject myself to being in the presence of a scumbag."
