Who dafuq actually likes this crap? I need srs answers why so many people like Gucci Mane and pls don't say ''he is really productive and made 100 tapes''. Putting out constant shyt doesn't make you good.

i agree , current gucci mane sucks. You really would think he was a clone based on his decline.

And I personally dont know any young people today (age 24 or under) who really "love" Gucci mane or seek his music out. he's probably viewed as more of an old head who's washed up by zoomers.

but in his prime from 2006 to ~2010 and really 2008/2009/2010 specifically, he was prolific.

If not the trap messiah, he's definitely on the mount rushmore. and being young during those prime Gucci years, at least on the east coast or south, you heard him everywhere. If you're 27 or older and a rap fan (and more specifically trap) you HAVE to have at least a few gucci tapes that you really like. He has a lot of classics.

2008 especially, was just a great year for rap in general. Lil wayne was dominating the mainstream, Gucci / Gotti/ etc killing the mixtape game. Good-times.
