How do you gain weight if you have GERD? (SRS thread)

Any brahs here have GERD? I’ve found out I might have it and I’ve been told that I should avoid high fat and spicy foods. My whole world came crushing down, I’ve lost a lot of weight since last Tuesday. I have no idea how one can gain weight with this issue.
