why is food so expensive these days. serious.

just realized my 2nd largest expense is food

I eat out 2-3x a day at $15-20 per meal. comes out to $1k+ on just food. does the Treasury want me to starve

gonna go back to eating rice and chicken everyday

can you kunts get me under $100 a month? I need 3kcals/day and a dessert

It’s insane. I probably spend between $700-$1k per month on food alone. Before Biden’s inflation I was eating good for under $500 easily and shopping at Wegmans which is not exactly a cheap store.

went to get italian food at work last week (was covered)

pasta with red sauce was $30(!)

I make pasta almost everyday so I know the prices

box of pasta - $1.29
crushed tomatoes - $2.00

and that's like 4 servings of pasta
