How much money could a dude spend on food/gymimg for 20 years?

I'm watching this show extreme cheapskates...got me thinking how much a dude could spend on fitness over the course of 20 years. gym memberships, clothing and the biggest cost -- high protein food...plus compounding interest and opportunity costs.

$100,000...$200,000?

to gain a pound of muscle, you don't need a pound of protein
muscle is 80% water
