At Sunoco fueling up (yes fuelcelmaxxer) and I am watching the little TV play the ads and naturally I am oblivious to the world around me, but suddenly become aware of a “YO! YO! YO! YO! YO! YO!” So I turn around to locate the noise and I see an Astro in a Weed Van, some kind of weed tour van with cannabis leaf graphics and stuff plastered everywhere. His van is parked about 1 foot away from my car and he’s clearly trying to pull in to the pump adjacent to mine.

I make eye contact with him and he points to his van and my car and say “Can you back up?” I am confused at first and clearly it showed on my face (maybe that’s just my natural resting face) and he repeats himself, “Can you back up your car?”

I lock eyes with him and say “I’m fueling” to which he reacts by staring at me with rage building and I say “I’ll back out when I’m done” and his face turns into an expression of exasperation like he can’t believe that I wouldn’t just cancel my transaction, disengage the pump from my car, hook it back up to the station, get in my car, and back up for him immediately.

In other words, he expected me to inconvenience myself for him IMMEDIATELY.

I wasn’t initially gonna fill up my tank but I stood there until my tank was full.

those kinds of people tend to have a habit of not being able to consider anyone else besides themselves. They literally have zero empathy. Which is why its so easy for them to execute innocent people without a 2nd thought

Nope I docked normally at the spaceport, he was in a huge spaceship and didn’t know how to pilot it and couldn’t wait a few minutes for me to un-dock from the spaceport. If he wasn’t in a commercial-class cruiser and was instead piloting a personnel-class ship, he would have been able to re-fuel his dilithium crystals normally. Instead he expected me to halt my refueling process for him so he could fit in the refueling station.I was docked normally at the spaceport.

One thing I learned about people is to never let them make you mad. Speak softly and carry a big stick crew.

I was pulling a 6x12 uhaul trailer a few years ago and had to stop at a busy ass gas station to fill up. After 5-10 minutes waiting for a spot to open so I can pull in and some dumb bitch starts backing up in her Prius as I’m lining up my truck with the pump.

She yells out to me “this is my pump, let me use it”. I shake my head no. “Please let me use it” she says

I put down my window and at the same time notice another pump opened. I yell “there’s literally an open pump right there. I’m not moving. Go over there”
