More and More People Will Move To Warmer Climates as globlization continues

Russia, Eastern europe for example....... the entire native population is at negative birth rates.... this is on top of high migration rates. why would anyone spend their life there if they are aware of more beautiful weather in western europe and the Americas?

it's cold. gloomy. poverty. drunk. culturally depressing. food is garbage.

why would anyone stay in those countries as they go on the internet and see how other people are laying on the beach in the sun with pina coladas

The wealthy Slavs are already doing this. They're flooding to *****, Southern France, Italy and Latin America. Nobody would stay in Eastern Europe if they had an out.

I foresee women having more flexibility to migrate to warmer places. Because a woman can always resort to sex work for money if she can't find regular employment whereas a man is limited by his employment prospects.

This will be a boom for the rich guys who live in the warmer climates because they'll have access to a greater variety of women.

I've spent over a year collectively in Poland, and there's almost no poverty or drunkenness. The culture isn't depressing either, it's a lot healthier than ours.

I will say though the climate SUCKS outside of summer, but I'm very biased toward warm weather. I went out of my way to move to south Texas for that reason.

Tbh though the climate of all of northern Europe sucks. Germany's a little milder, but not by much. England is much milder, but it never gets all that warm either. Even the US where it's easy to move internally people actually choose to live in the north. Smh @ those people.

Here's a plant hardiness map of Europe. Typically the further east you get the colder it is in winter.

It's a trend that has been happening in the US for a very long time. Especially after air conditioning became commonplace. The one thing colder places in the US and Europe have going for them is they tend to have more welfare programs. But that isn't exactly attracting people ya want. BRB violence in the UK and Sweden jumping through the ceiling.

Texas will be the most populated US state in about 20 years.

So Bulgaria has colder weather than the UK in an average year?

That map goes off of winter low temperatures. Palm trees actually grow in London because their winter lows are so mild. On the other hand summers in Bulgaria are much warmer, but winter lows are also lower.

Here's a picture of a Canary Island Date Palm that's been growing in London for years:

Summers in Warsaw are comparable to London, but winters are much colder, as an example.

Nice, but is the overall difference enough to see a gigantic flight of people from say Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, etc, to western Europe, solely based on the weather??

No it's almost entirely economic. EE got fuked after WWII. If you look at the average salary in the Czech Republic before the war it was equivalent to Austria's. After the fall of the Soviet Union Austria's was like 10x higher lol

That persists to this day, though the gap shrinks with every year.

On the surface, to me as an American Poland looks the same as Western Europe, maybe even better because everything is new and there's less crime, but salaries are still lower.
