Canada is smoking us out

I heard Canada has had 2000 wildfires so far this year. When has this ever happened? I have never in my life witnessed smoke from fires in Canada drifting down to the NE and midwest.

In NJ and NYC it smells like burning wood and the sun is perpetually blocked like in the movie The Road.

It's reached all the way down to MISSISSIPPI forcrissake. Air quality is normally around 30, which is clean. Now it's 94. I mean if I want to fukk my lungs I'll fukk them with something funner than gotdamn wildfire smoke.

I read in the NYC area, breathing the air is the equivalent of smoking 4 cigs a day. I might as well break out the 10 yr old pack of Camel Lights and smoke a few. Not like it would make much difference.
