If Listerine "kills 99.9% of the germs that cause bad breath, plaque & gingivitis"...

Why would I even need to brush, fellas? .....For the 0.01%?

Don't know what it is about Listerine but I had the worst breath from using that chit. Breath would legit smell like cow chit in a few hours.

For a few reasons:
There are places in the mouth where the mouthwash will not reach but a brush will
Mouthwash cannot physically remove food or plaque
Physically brushing the gums stimulates growth and repair

Why can't 3M or Dupont just come up with a coating that effectively makes our teeth inert and impenetrable to bacteria/rot? I refuse to believe that's out of reach of modern technology.

bad breath 99% comes from your tonsils. because you can't clean inside your tonsils. you can clean the outside but not inside where loads of tonsil stones stay for years and develop bacteria

But the bad breath only started after using Listerine, and ended after I quit using it. Agreed though I've had tonsil stones and those stink, but that wasn't it.

That stuff only works because it's 20% alcohol.

Just drink whiskey instead. That's 40% alcohol.

Listerine actually kills a lot of germs, but that achieves pretty much nothing. Brushing is important for disrupting plaque biofilms.

You still have to worry about the gums, which are also susceptible to bacteria and disease.

It accounts for any potential unknown species/organisms. That they cannot know 100%.

Mouthwash is a scam. Can't believe people fall for this chit. Brb need to sterilise my mouth. Jesus Christ.

Brush correctly (including your tongue) and floss and enjoy your teeth.

You wanna know what the real scam is?

Toothpaste.

Several studies in the last 3 or 4 years say dry brushing or slightly wetted is substantially more effective at cleaning teeth and gums.

Did you swallow it? Or just spit it out like a retard? It only works properly if you drink it.
