I motioned this in another thread and several members told me, WITH GREAT CERTAINTY, that a tax case couldn’t be used in defense of the 2nd amendment, so I was surprised to get my updates for the day and saw the SCOTUS using Tyler v. Hennepin County. Originally this it was ruled that the government can’t just “take” your private property. Didn’t pay your taxes? They can’t just take what they want. They have to pay the value that’s left.

They are now using the 5th amendment as part of their defense of the 2nd because we have the right to KEEP and bear arms, and the government also has no authority in stealing/taking private property.

Leftists and anti gun advocates are losing their minds. One source even said “They are confusing legislators!” WTF does that even mean? Perhaps its because they are out of touch with the constitution.
