I'm going to be honest. It requires relatively little effort to solve most cases. Its very rare any kind of advanced technologies or techniques are actually used. And the times when people 'get away with it'. Is typically just luck. The majority of cops simply aren't trying 'that' hard to make arrests/lock people up.
