Just finished watching LOTR again, all three movies. The struggle for man's survival, along with all worldly things, brings to light a sense of appreciation and optimism for the times. Boromir, dead for redemption of succumption. Haldir, sacrificed immortality for savior for mortals. Theoden, Gandalf, Frodo, many others, lost for the fate of time. While we live our 78+ (and growing) years of life expectancy, in the comforts of relative peace and technological advancements. We know not hunger, we know not desperation. Instead we know of politics and social media... We know of sex and societal adequacy. These are the petty struggles we face. Yet we steal, cheat, lie, and view ourselves superior to lessers.

Who are you, but an unappreciative, weak, fool?

LOTR is deep.

I never watched LOTR is it really that good? being ded srs...my friend said it's very similar to Game of Thrones except more PG13.
