The abruptness of the character was a bit much eventually, I think if they dialed in Oklahoma more it could have been better looking back on it. Less could have been more, while everyone still would have understood the assignment. Definitely some lols as is though.

JR is easy to sh*t on as largely a hypocrite shill, who has spent decades keeping food on the table for dirtsheets and was even pegged for it multiple times. There isn’t a dollar he doesn’t like. Just look at him now. A broken shell who historically sh*ts on many of the very things AEW does now, but he will suck TK’s dik as long as he’s getting a check. There’s never been a guy in the business with anything short of a D3 athletics background that JR hasn’t fapped over.

It was poorly done and in bad taste considering the major health issues JR suffered right before it.

Brick- Basically everyone in the wrestling industry is a money loving hypocrite that will kiss the ass of the guy signing checks and leak information to dirt sheet guys (Brawl Out happened because “the elite” had their friends leak negatively spun info or disinformation on CM Punk). JR likes legitimate athletes, the young bucks like guys who don’t lift and treat pro wrestling like it’s all a big joke. Not much difference in how they actually operate though.

Nope. If they could’ve made fun of JR in a way that was actually funny I wouldn’t have minded it. I think tank Abbott beat up mark madden on one of those episodes. Madden made the shows boring
