I'm definitely looking forward to this. I wasn't a big fan of the movie but loved the show. Some episodes just knocked it out of the park.

One of the first episodes was about a world where there's a social rating system. China introduced theirs literally two years after that. Scary stuff.

We already see hints of that emerging in our world when people look at something like a follower count and consider someone more important/influential because of it. And they have higher earning potential as well.

I was reading they were going to release these back in like 2019/2020 but didn’t because the pandemic hit

They didn’t want people watching dark, mindfuk chit when everybody was locked down and a pandemic was looming

It's an anthology but many of the stories are set in the same universe.

I am very wary. Peak Black Mirror is great but it has been on the decline and I doubt they took this long to put out the season to find inspiration.

Looking forward to it as well. I have higher hopes than the last one back in 2019 that only released 3 episodes. This one this time has 5 episodes.

I do recommend it if you've never seen it, but with the current political and woke climate don't be surprised if one episode is focused on LGBTQRPRAO. Just sayin, but I have high hopes.
