Are Bananas Overrated?

The only fruits I eat are a variety of berries (antioxidants) and bananas. I'm thinking of dropping the bananas due to high calories and high sugar.

The nutrition facts for 1 medium-sized banana (100 grams) are:

Calories: 89
Water: 75%
Protein: 1.1 grams
Carbs: 22.8 grams
Sugar: 12.2 grams
Fiber: 2.6 grams
Fat: 0.3 grams

Bananas are a rich source of carbs, which occur mainly as starch in unripe bananas and sugars in ripe bananas.

Bananas are a source for fiber. A high proportion of the starch in unripe bananas is resistant starch, which passes through your gut undigested. When bananas ripen, the proportion of water-soluble pectin increases, which is one of the main reasons why bananas turn soft as they age.
Both pectin and resistant starch moderate the rise in blood sugar after a meal.

Bananas are a good source of several vitamins and minerals, especially potassium, vitamin B6, and vitamin C

Nutrition wise, I can get more bang for the calories (and sugar), eating something else.

I love bananas, but they're a waste when cutting. Not filling at all and too much sugar for such a small item. Strawberries are GOAT when cutting. (Ded fkn Srs)

Yeah on cutting id stay away from bananas, but on maintenance/recomp/performance mode... gotta have at least one a day or you are missing out
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Before i would go on stage i would eat 2 bananas to help anxiety. Apparently they work as beta blockers. I swear that sht would work. I would still get nervous but my fingers weren't affected.

skyrockets my Blood Sugar

A Hershey's chocolate bar is about the same amount of carbs but only brings my BG to 150 while a Banana brings it to 220.

Rice does the same except if I eat rice with meat then it doesn't go up much.

If I eat meat by itself then my BG goes up.

I only buy them because they’re cheap and other fruits are expensive as chit.

Bananas are mid as the kids would say, but not as overrated as apples.

I mean are you in ketosis ?

If not clean fast burning carbs smartly planned like fruit is your best energy source with maintenance growth etc.. coming from proteins and fats.
