This seems like a solid theory to me.

It is good that misc formed a culture that has been a force for righteousness (on several notable occasions) and so it is paramount that this culture (including use of words such as 'brah') be preserved. Cultures associated with immoral acts such as high rates of violent crime should die out completely, but not the culture that misc has formed and all of the good that it has done. We should all make an effort to say brah more brahs.
