Construction. Especially drywall chit on multiple level buildings. Brb 30k steps / day hauling heavy chit up n down dusty as phuck.
You make your way from the 7th to the bottom. Meanwhile some retard electricians step all ove your chit & you have to go spread it again.

FedEx Package Handler. Absolutely grueling work especially during the busy season. Pretty sure I messed up some disks lifting some of the chit I did. Almost lost a finger once too. Unloading was much easier than the loading area, fuk that.

Runner up would be the 2nd half of the duration I spent as an assistant community manager. Was pulling 12-14 hour days only to find out my old boss was embezzling money and my new boss was delegating her responsibilities to me because she was incompetent. Turns out my old boss purposely hired someone who didn't know much so she could still charge the organization for consulting services lol. Fuking mess.

Security at a car auction's parking lot. It was the biggest parking lot you ever seen, had to do foot patrol the entire shift. Would wake up early in the morning to walk around this parking lot till 3 pm.

Some stops were like, a little bag of clothes and some stops were a whole ****ing sectional couch on the second floor plus a fridge and a dresser lol.

Not only that but you had to load them into the truck so you had space for the whole day, so you had to play Tetris with these ****ing huge piece of furniture, I hated it lol

I have had some real shyt ones, so it's a bit tough to pick just one but...I'd probably say being a loader at UPS. Fuk that place.

One (of the many) reasons that loading at UPS sucks so much. Getting a nonstop avalanche of packages of all different shapes and sizes, expected to move fast as fuk, but also expected to be like a 3D Tetris expert - with some douchebag supervisor that will come around and bytch that you aren't stacking shyt neatly enough (among other things - they would also find something to bitch about).

The worst job is the one that requires me to actually put in effort such as manual labor. I've done both office work and manual labor. Doing taxes was the worst. Brb boss once asked me to do 2 years worth of company taxes and it took a week. Brain felt fried afterwards. I don't understand how guys work in those jobs. It's mental torture.

Call center. I’ve posted about it extensively before but basically we were paid $10/hr + commission to scam people. When I say scam people, it was entirely legal, but unethical upselling via high pressure quotas from corporate that trickled down to illicit tactics such as slamming. My commissions were taken from my every month for not meeting quotas, because it was virtually impossible to do so without outright lying to customers. This was customer service for a mega telecom company by the way.

My manager’s motto was “you can sell anything to anybody if you pitch with enough confidence.” In reality he meant lie to old ladies.

Professional mover. Absolutely backbreaking work. I think I was the only one there without a felony. It's not about just being hard work, it's that that type of crap day after day will destroy your body. If you think you are strong, go work for one of them and you'll find out where you are weak. What got me is these guys would run run run and work as fast as possible, no breaks, because they thought it would generate tips. Even when they knew there would be little or no tip, they would want to work fast so that they can get the the next one hoping for a tip. I did it until I could prove that I could hack it and then quit.

A few places I worked, it sucked because of the employer, not so much the job.

This is K R G R RADIO.... fark.....

Yep did that one and yeah, it was one of the worst jobs. Just tedious. No real skill you need brains, but to find the product and stock it. Being newer I kept getting the crap isle which was mostly the Can Goods isle. Yes, high pressure because they wanted you to get so much done.

First job was working at a Burger King when I was 15 and 16 with a diverse group including a young man named “Calif” who was 5’5” and threatened to punch me in the mouth after work every day. The young ladies also weren’t very nice either. To be fair I was definitely an autist so I can’t blame them for reacting the way they did, but I can’t say I enjoyed it.

I could bang out a badass Whopper though, and I was the KING of dishwashing.

Same boat but was an Insulator. Hauling bags of insulation up floors, breathing it in even with the N95 mask, electrician pulls it all out, have to do over, have to take a chit, jog down 15 floors. No thanks. That pay was good 48/hr but the work was horrible

Worked at knotts berry farm in the jelly processing factory when they had one back in the day.

It was like an assembly line.

My job though was not that luck. They put me in this quite / clean room thing. this was where they assembled the special trays of like dried fruits and such. It was all old mexican ladies who didnt speak english and me.

Had to wear the whole clean room get up too.

I didnt get to assemble the trays, my job was to take a big 50lb box of dates and sort the light dates from the dark dates. 8 hours a day in complete silence. The old ladies never talked even in spanish to each other.

At least the jelly packing guys got to talk to each other and listen to the radio and such.
