High fat diet good for anxiety and mood?

Feels like when I eat lots of eggs, butter, bacon, red meat I don’t experience random bouts of anxiety and feel better overall.

I remember jordan Peterson saying something about a morning breakfast of high fat / protein being really good for anti anxiety effects

Could definitely help. Keeps blood sugar pretty stable instead of spikes when eating carbs

I eat a relatively high fat diet and feel a ton better than when I used to do low fat before I knew better. No weight gain because I still keep an eye on portions and calories. High fat food tend to also be higher in calories so you have to watch that.

I was the most clear headed when I was on keto

But missing out on carbs wasn't worth it

Nope! I’m on Keto and let me tell you boyo… carbs make for a great mood improver. Off carbs your blood sugar is just cruising, no ups or downs, straight as an arrow… same as your mood. Neither high nor low, just OK.

But what happens after the mood improves from carbs?

Strong this. Whenever I eat carbs in the morning I want to go to sleep and get brain fog. (Ded fkn Srs)
