Strange how NC works.

I'll always admit that I fumble sh!t after a break up or someone ghosting me.

Long story short. Had an FWB, eventually says "I might have met someone and don't think it's fair to him"

I go "Cool, understood" -- and then hide stories on IG/********.

Go about my life, then start to notice she likes stuff on IG/******** -- and then just last night hits me up with a convo about how "I see why you like the gym"

SHE initiated contact. Appears to be back in orbit.

Funny how backing off, and not giving it any attention and they reach out.

Yeah but NC is meant to help you move on, not make her jealous and bitter

And yeah, gotta wonder if things didn't work out with the new one or maybe set the bar high, idk.

She just wants to test the waters to see if you're still interested, even if things with the other guy are good. Always surveying for potential new branches to swing onto, they are.

Yea some do that
But I've had relationships on girls I dated go NC and I never heard from the a day in my life again

They don't all come back

Nah before hand I kind of wouldn't know how to handle someone breaking things off.

I had a FWB situation years ago that I handled sloppily.

So after this time I didn't do anything and just let it be.

However, it is funny when a woman says "You set the bar so high that I don't know if future partners will be able to match it"

You aren’t supposed to break NC when she gives you attention because that’s how you actually lose. She’ll be gone even faster the second time.


It works because of the way women operate. A man is a resource to them and you don’t dump all your options if you are sure. When you stop talking to them they realize they may miss out on your resources if they need you etc.

Your sort of like a long term savings account they need access to.
