A question for Republicans
I'm genuinely curious and have been wanting to find the answer to this question that seems to undermine and make the entire party look like hypocrites. I'm open to change my mind on Republicans if someone can explain how it is possible that a government which strongly identifies itself as "smaller government" meaning less intervention by the people in charge telling you what you can do with your life, and it seems to be the case in many instances. For example republicans are more likely to support Lower taxes.
So how is it then that Republicans are the ones who are telling people it's not okay to marry who you love(unless your love is the opposite gender). That sounds like government having control over someone's lives. It's also ironic to me that Republicans tell women what they can do to their bodies, not realizing that 99 Percent of the time women who get or need abortions are women who Are from poor and low socioeconomic communities, and the women who cant get abortions end up raising the child in a bad environment.

Once I was at Riverfest.
Three day live music festival in Little Rock with like five stages etc.
good time.
B.O.B. playing.
I was a little self conscious despite being easily top 5% of aesthetics there, my friend convinced to me to take my shirt off.
Obviously women just eye ****ed me all day. Pretty standard stuff for any gym rat in an environment where it isn’t weird to show off being a gym rat and most people there have never seen a gym…..
I am 5’7”.
Me and my friend who is around my height, and DYEL status started making our way to the front of the crowd to be in front of the stage.
I guess people don’t like it when you do this.
Like, even though they could just push their way up front, they don’t, and they yell at other people who do.
This is in a grass field. There is no reserved seating or anything.
Some drunk dude started yelling at my buddy. He was pissed. At least 6 feet. You could feel with his body language he was legit mad. He started yelling at my friend hard af.
It took me a second to realize he wouldn’t even look at me going off on this rant. Once I saw the weakness, I slowly walked up to him, put my open palm in front of his face, inches away, and closed my fingers as a type of command for him to shut his mouth.
He literally did not even acknowledge me.
His wife/gf looked at me and started begging me to just leave it.
Even though I was all up in space he was not engaging me, only my friend.
He was not a threat at all.
This same thing happens to much smaller degree two or three more times. People just getting passive aggressively mad, but letting us through.
As people do be, most were cool.
So when we got to the front we made some friends and they were saying how they pretty much had to fight their way up there. I didn’t even think about that one guy because most people were cool about it, and I told him I didn’t have that hard of a time.
“Look at you man, of course you didn’t”
It is a different world man.

zero fighting ability and way more confidence than I should have.
at the same time though, insecure pussies (alfas), are threatened by your mere existence and like to start chit. So you have to deal with that.

As far as marriage, marriage was created by God, what it is and what it is not God has established. You cannot change what the fundamentals of something is & claim it is your right to change them, then apply your changes to define what was already established.

Also, you may want to look into the early history of the party. The first Republican party in 1856 promised to defeat polygamy and slavery. The democrats opposed their efforts so much that it caused a civil war in 1860. Ultimately the Republicans ended up freeing the slaves, giving them citizenship and the right to vote. In 1870 the first black senator and the first black congressman were sworn in as republicans. In fact, until 1935 every black representative of the house was a Republican and every black senator until 1979 was too. First female member of congress, first Hispanic governor and senator, first Asian senator etc. (all Republicans).
Republican congress also gave women the right to vote (Democrats largely voted against while Republicans almost all voted in favor). Meanwhile the Democrats gave you Jim Crow and KKK.
Don't fall for the wolf in sheep's clothing, historically they have been monsters. Republicans are not without flaws but it's a safer gamble. Almost every country in the world you don't want to live in has a far left government. Marxism has killed 100 million people in the last 100 years. Both socialism and communism are equally terrifying.

The thing is, Dems want control. They want to dictate things to the entire US. Some states agree with them, and this is fine. But many states don't agree at all, and are not interested in being controlled by people in DC.
The Supreme Court ruling over abortion wasn't about banning abortion. It was removing a terrible court ruling that forced states to accept Abortion. Now, some states are passing their own laws, which is exactly how the system should work.

Most republicans don't want the govt in marriage at all. It's a religious ceremony and has nothing to do with the govt. No one is stopping gay people from living together as spouses. Most would also say that abortion is a form of murder which is a about as basic a law as you can get. I personally don't agree with abortion but if the degenerates need them to stop procreating, that's up to them. I'm pretty much fine with people making their own choices and doing whatever they want in the privacy of their own home. When it spills out into the public is when it becomes a problem. If someone wants to do heroin and smoke meth in their home, fine. If they want to do it in public and harm or disrupt others, put them in prison and out of society.

I'm open to change my mind on Republicans if someone can explain how it is possible that a government which strongly identifies itself as "smaller government" meaning less intervention by the people in charge telling you what you can do with your life, and it seems to be the case in many instances. So how is it then that Republicans are the ones who are telling people it's not okay to marry who you love(unless your love is the opposite gender). That sounds like government having control over someone's lives. It's also ironic to me that Republicans tell women what they can do to their bodies, not realizing that 99 Percent of the time women who get or need abortions are women who Are from poor and low socioeconomic communities, and the women who cant get abortions end up raising the child in a bad environment.
