ITT: We come up with ideas to save the submarine crew
They should open up the submarine hatch which will cause a huge air bubble to float up and they can potentially ride that up whilst possibly even staying dry

I was thinking of something like anchoring down a giant high powered magnet (like they have at junk yards) to grab the sub and hoist it out.
i'm not sure if they make a cable long enough to reach him though.

They should rewind time to about five days ago and never plan to go down there. That will solve this dilemma.

Imagine a scenario that your average joe can find themselves in. You've wrecked you car and fallen into a lake with a depth of 9meters (30ft). Once you're completely submerged the force of water against the door makes it virtually impossible to push the door open.

In the movie 'The Martian' Matt Damon said "do the math and you'll be ok" and he got off Mars, that's way harder than being a hundred metres under water. If they do the math, perhaps grow some potato's for food then they'll be ok

Turns out they are actually bolted in from the outside so they cant get out regardless so that's the majority of my ideas gone. Don't all submarines have tor****s? They could fire one and then they'd be able to track it and find them

There must be some radio communications coming from the sub. Has to be. They will listen constantly and if lucky they will find something, but that'll just be the beginning. Then they actually have to locate the the sub with another sub. A rescue plan would be like the Thai cave rescue but 1,000,000 times harder. The outlook is certainly grim... if they pull it off it'll be one of the greatest rescues of all time.

At the bottom of the ocean, they can't do that. Even if the pressure didn't stop them from opening the hatch (if it was engineered to open inward for example), the water pressure would instantly kill them. If they did survive, the bends would get them on the way up unless they took a significant amount of time to decompress, but I am under the impression they are so deep, the pressure would kill a human. Could be wrong, obviously.

nuke the atlantic ocean, hopefully the shockwave pushes them to safety, maybe they can ride a tsunami to shore. They can calculate where to nuke using where the titanic sunk so they don't obliterate them, just give them a little push

They went down there to look at the wreck of the Titanic. I wonder if in a few years there will be other submarine tours to look at the wreck of this submarine.
