At what point do microtransactions become macrotransactions?
What I think a micro transaction is:
Mobile games
- $0.99 to remove ads from a free game
- some dlc char for $2.99
AAA games
- char unlock for $4.99
- some new race tracks in Mario kart for $2.99
- weapon skins for <$5
At what point are they not microtransactions anymore? A $25 mount in d4 shouldn’t be called a microtransaction anymore because that minimizes the ridiculous pricing for a minor cosmetic. There should be some new name for this ludicrous new tier

I'd rather a distinction be drawn between DLC and everything else that's created just to squeeze the playerbase.
DLC = things that take time to develop like new characters, maps, missions, etc.
Everything else = stat bonuses, loot boxes/cosmetics, early release, etc.
