most American "actors" aren't even actors

think about it. In interviews most have the same voices, even the same mannerisms for the most part, they just play themselves being told what to say. Almost all UK actors flog them in actual talent

Most studios just spring for British or Australian actors cause they make for a better product/movie.

Most modern Hollywood films are a bag of sh*te. The major studios are all based there though so I guess that's what keeps it as the movie epicentre.

It's not as if all the talent is there. The best working directors are Nolan (British) and Villeneuve (Canadian), but of course they are locked in with Universal & Warner.

Thing is that is what gets some celebrities their roles. They are known for their particular look/style and often play very similar roles repeatedly because movies are a business and seeing that a known and previous favorite is on the bill gets butts into seats + paid streams.

Acting is subjective and everyone has their own preferences. Some may prefer UK actors, while others appreciate actors from other countries. It's up to each individual to decide what they enjoy in an actor's work
