I have 5.1.4 atmos here. Also klipshe rp ayyyy. I also have a klipshe 2.1 stereo attached to my pc.


Extraction 2 was better with the dolby atmos and the action. John wick 4 sucked.

The best scene I've ever seen in dolby atmos was the one take battle scene from game of thrones, battle of the bastards episode. Insane audio for that scene

That was the only scene I thought was really good.

I love the wick series but Keanu looked sluggish as hell in John wick 4, alot of the take towns were so sloppy and the gunfights were just lazy. Brb sprinting into every fight pulling his suit over his head. Sorry not sorry but this movie sucked.


Extraction 2 was a masterclass of action and physical prowess from Hemsworth. And has much better directional audio.

depends on your home situation, small/big room, spending limits? you an apartment/condo dweller? a home theatre in a box setup can be great but the subs in those will get you noise complaints at high levels. so a sub could get you evicted if its too good (or even really good mid range speakers).

i got a 1000watt total HTIAB 5.1 sony surround for 599.99(on sale reg price 799.99) with a bout 350watt 5inch sub 10 years ago. It still sounds amazing and has got me evicted 3 times (sub absolutely pounds at higher settings - amazing quality).

I also had a really cheap HTIAB no name brand from best buy that was bout 350$ total and it was just ok. not party quality but good enough and still way better then standard tv speakers. also wasnt tempted to blast music since it didnt sound that great at high levels (speaker distortion/sub vibrated way to much)

I would just start off with a pre packaged setup in your price range. they can be very good and easy to get them at best buy.

i dont get the john wick hype either. had to watch the first movie in 2 parts which already means it sucks. watched 2nd movie up untril wierd lady in pool scene and turned it off. just awful acting and story telling. not interesting at all. just cool action scenes but its like watching a call of duty highlight video for 2 hours LMAO!

Have a house, living room isn’t too big though- maybe 15’x20’

I’ll have to check out bestbuy then for a complete package. Mostly just want the ability to actually hear conversations without needing subtitles since tv speakers suck
