Anyone else grow fruit trees? Rate my 1st mango season (rate)

Poverty tree is only 5 years old. Thought it was a ph*ggot tree but this year finally gave me like 15 mangos. I also have an avocado and a key lime. Orange tree died. Florida go figure...

Citrus farmer here. I got oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruit, etc.

Every man should cultivate some kind of crop. It's on our DNA.

I don't have a fruit tree sadly. I live in IL so fruit is annoying to grow, plus I'm in an apartment. I have an herb garden at my parents house right now with a few other veggies growing. Nothing better than stopping over there and picking fresh thyme, cilantro, oregano and parsley to bring back and use to cook steak and make a Chimichurri sauce with.
Veggies would be awesome... Yeah you probably thinking of a different miscer.... although i did plant 14 different coconut palms 10 years ago. What a horrible decision because of all the god damn coconuts always falling and cleaning up. It's good workout sometimes

Lmfao at the diks. We can grow plums where I live but that's about the only fruit tree that will grow here. They are the best plums ever though.

Used to live in Indiana and we could grow apples and mulberry trees grew every where. Mulberries were great

That was me. Just picked my last mango yesterday, got about 70 this year on my 5 year old tree.

Mango trees are a long term investment, some dont start fruiting full on until 15 years of age (like your sister)

Maybe a seedling tree but a grafted tree will bear fruit in 2-3 years.

No doubt. My avocado was 12 years planted. Crazy because last year i was talking about it with my Haitian neighbor... his avocado wasn't fruiting either and he said he was gonna "chop" it. I looked at mine the next day and ho lee fukk it had a bunch of little balls growing. 12 years... they tasted great about 3 months later
