High SHBG feelsbadman
Anyone had a high SHBG and lowered it naturally? Got test results today and my SHBG is really high, which i assume is the reason my free test is on the lower part of the range?
Total test: 790 ng/dl (range 250-1100)
Free test: 65.1 pg/ml (range 35-155)
SHBG: 87 nmol/l (range 10-50)
DHEA levels were also in the middle of my range
I've done a little research since and i've read caffeine increases it. I had a C4 energy drink at 6am, test at 9:40am (test did not specify diet or fasting). Did I dun goofed?
Other factors that lead to high SHBG include obesity, liver disease and hyperthyroidism. Def am not obese.
I'm going to limit the sugars, alcohol and caffeine while increasing protein intake %. This test was done coming off high volume aerobic training with massive loads of carbs, so hoping that plays a part.
Anything else I should focus on?

Mine is normal. Would hate high SHBG. Basically cancels out a solid percentage of your serum test.
