Why? Srs. It’s 2023, unless you’re a doctor how does it make any sense? How do you sleep at night knowing you could be chillin at home doing your job? BRB have to take lunch (an hour each day gone.) BRB wake up 30 minutes earlier to get ready. BRB 30 minute commute each way. That’s 2.5 hrs day wasted / 12.5 hrs week. + it fukking sucks

We have no choice but to go in half time. At least I get 2 days to work from home, but I miss 5 days a week as it’s so hard to get up early and get ready. Plus for me it’s an hour commute each way, plus wake up an hour earlier.

Can't imagine ever going back into an office. I'd rather lose everything and live on the streets

Great memory, mirin. Yes I was, but I was not cut from your typical Army cloth (85 IQ tradie). I’m a high IQ college graduate with a sales background. My reasoning at the time for joining the Army was I wanted to fuk chit up and get some cool training, but in retrospect it was largely because I was stuck in a bad 5yr relationship & wanted out but couldn’t consciously acknowledge that at the time, so that was my way of exiting the situation

Since then I did one sales job for two years. Won’t get in to industries and such due to misc detectives. Made $85K first yr in office, $100K second year negotiated remote. Then left left that job & took a new remote position, on track to make $150K-$200K this yr
