fukk driving to any of the 3 NYC area airports. I take the train whenever I visit my family on the east coast. It takes the same amount of time and you don't have to deal with NYC's clusterfukked roads.

issue is american modernized BEFORE asia. Asia was backwater until westerners helped them (srs)


So NYC built out this modern infrastructure and subway system in 1904, and first airports in the world etc. and then city built around it densly. its very hard to suddenly rebuild the NYC subway system.


Korea/Japan were completely bombed out in the 40/50s, they could start fresh

same with Europe (completely bombed out)


China was backwater until the late 1990s.


if NYC was completely bombed out and we could rebuild it, the infrastructure would be much nicer.

Back when I lived in NJ, when I’d goto Newark, especially in the mornings, the smell of piss was strong, and the homeless were sleeping all over the place. (Pre-9-11).

One time there a homeless dude sleeping on a bench said something to a female employee as she walked by. She turned around and beat the chit out the dude. She fought hard, and stomped him out at the end. Two male workers just hung back and watched (like I did).
