Lot of bodybuilder are dying. From this video below, at least 22 died from pulmonary embolism, heart attack, "died in their sleep" or cause is "unknown".

Example, see Stacy Cummings, IFBB pro, who suddenly died in 2022

Have we learned nothing from the past 10 years?[/QUOTE]Tbh bro, I'd seen some recent interviews etc. and the dude had scaled way back on the dosing, did regular blood work & ECGs etc. and he seemed fairly knowledgeable so it is surprising.

Thailand claims another victim.

Clearly the vax and not the history of various drug cocktails to get unnecessarily "swole." Now on a permacut.

Seemed like a genuinely nice guy, just went too far with tech. Rip boyo.
“Steroids is now just a word that the lazy and ignorant use to describe any guy that has more muscle and dedication than them”– Mike O'Hearn

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

Why do they go for that tiny waist look nowadays? The body looks ridiculously out of proportion.

This is what it should like like.

“Maybe Your Heart Gonna Give Up”: Fitness Icon Confesses Biggest Fear About His Rare Muscle Condition That Keeps Him Away From Competing ‘Too Much’
Published 06/09/2023, 1:07 AM AEST
Bodybuilding as a sport is inherently a physically challenging domain. Thus, even a minor form of health struggle of an athlete has the possibility of causing drastic results. Hence, German fitness sensation, Jo Lindner fears that his rare muscle condition might predispose him to a heart attack or even worse.

Talking to popular YouTuber, Bradley Martyn on Wednesday, the icon shared his biggest fear while training or competing in bodybuilding events. He opened up about his health issue, Rippling muscle disease, which imparts a rippling effect on his muscles, leading to more cramps.

As per the interview posted on Bradley’s official channel, Bradley Martyn Raw Talk, the 28-year-old athlete, discussed a range of fitness topics, from substance abuse to the industry as a whole. Eventually, he admitted to the greatest fear of him getting a heart attack due to over-training.

He said, “The heart is also a muscle, that’s my biggest concern that what if I get such a bad cramp that my heart gets a cramp.” The fitness model claimed that is the reason why he intends to limit his competition to a certain degree and prioritize his health. “Because I would take all these diuretics and if I stop eating salt and drink a lot…then stop drinking as well, you would pee everything out,” he explained while talking about dehydration.

Furthermore, Lindner added that in such a case, he simply “can’t exist” or even walk anymore. Thus, he illustrated the grave scenario as, “That’s what is scary like, oh yeah you have this already and then you dehydrate yourself more, maybe your heart gonna give up at one point.” In contrast, the athlete was once brutally slammed by the bodybuilding world due to a bizarre feat.

I don't think they were taking horse/cattle steroids in Arnold's day. Nor clenbuterol.

Diuretics too (which I believe some theorize is the biggest cause of BB deaths).

The dosages are way higher nowadays, dorian Yates once said that people he's spoken too have took more gear to look good on the beach than he did for the olympia.

Damn, watched him collab with Larry Wheels just a week ago. Dude was always positive in his outlook towards life. Not that juicy fitness influencers passing away are rare but this one hits different as I often came upon his videos in the past couple of years. He did look more joocy in the latest Wheels video...

This made me sad. I despise most fitness influencers but him and noel seemed genuine and were entertaining as hell. RIP.

His GF posted that it was a brain aneurysm:

But everyone has already made their mind up that it must be a gear induced heart attack right? lol

Pretty sure back then you had test, deca, dbols, winny and turinabol

Fairly certain they weren't using stuff like primo or eq to help regulate estradiol either

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
