Bill Murray is a personal hero of mine, and I will have “fan of Bill Murray” in my obituary’
Edit: we had family film nights at my house and “What About Bob” filled up 1/3 of it.
Kingpin solidified him as GOAT. Ghost Busters needs no words from me. Getting older, I actually liked the artsy ones like Lost in Translation and Broken Flowers. Not for everyone, but solid imo.

Now I've read people's takes on the movie, some are pretty interesting, but I have to laugh at the idea that Murray's character development can be applied to our own lives. To live in "Groundhog Day" would be a privilege, just imagine having the ability to hone every skill and craft you could think of without the responsibility of everyday life, other's expectations, age/injury, etc?! Also. What a blessing to be able to spend years or decades spinning your wheels without the consequences of everyone around you tired of your chit and dying old, friendless, and empty. Perhaps that's the lesson, to avoid heading down that path to begin with and get straight to being a decent human being.
