The Nature Company was a Store that i really miss, It was overprice waterfalls and rocks and nature type thing but they played that yanni music in there they had waterfalls everywhere. It was such a peaceful store to go to when you're at the mall.

Does anyone have a memory of a toy or kids place with a big "thing" where you push a button and it lights up a bunch

Still take my kids to brick and mortar stores, but honestly ordering online means you don't have to deal with crowds and lineups. Just a convenience factor.

Amazon 98% of the time drops stuff on my doorstep the next day and is cheaper than anywhere else. I even get Costco delivered now because I hate stepping foot in those places.

If i remember a lot of those stores went under in the 2008 recession.

To be honest I'm not ready to do ALL of my shopping online until we get some good competition for UPS and FedEx

The Limited went under because 98% of people couldn't fit into their clothes.

Fuark. KB Toys hits right in the feels.

Used to play SNES there on their demo unit.

They also had the GOAT clearance bin of PC and Genesis/SNES/NES/Sega CD games.

Bought my Sega CD there for $30 on clearance. One of the happiest days of my life. srs.

I miss the pre-GameStop era gaming stores:

It was just such a great time to experience overall. Going to the mall was an activity to look forward to. Still physically shopping for music. Flipping through the little booklet on the inside of the CD case. They typically had some cool stuff in there.

Amazon took over its the conveniency of not needing to drive or sit in traffic or wait in lines and dealing with people when you can order something from your phone and get it in 2 days

Yep, that being said I do still have a lot of nostalgia of the actual physical stores. I remember like 5 years ago I passed through a town where I spent a lage portion of my younger years. I stopped at the mall I used to go to a lot and...man that place was like a damn ghost town.
