in theory, your body is best suited for sleeping flat on your back, no pillow. Pillows generally arch you neck.

I like using a very flat pillow. I breath better with my neck mostly straight. I don't have sleep apnea but my girlfriend says I snore with a thick pillow, think it kinda closes of my airway. If I don't have a flat pillow I go no pillow and sleep fine.

Tried the no pillow and just couldnt get used to it.

No shampoo now, thats the real deal.
