If so what option do you choose? Never really thought about it before, but lol at the first option.

Nope, but I haven't not used an ad blocker since 2007 or so.

Blew my mind when I discovered youtube had ads.

I use ad ablocker (Adblock) but still get this pop up, only on this site.

You don't need to do that, just reformat the drives using a live media linux USB.
