this is a whos who movie for jewish actors in hollywood (manhattan project was a bunch of jewish scientists). pretty excited, heard it played more as a horror film/thriller than a biopic that we are all expecting.

wouldnt be surprised if theres a scene dropping the bomb on hiroshima with graphic injuries etc.

oppenheimer was, but yes murphy is not. but they literally brought in all the typecasted "jewish actors" like this guy. basically if you were a prominent looking jewish actor and WERE not involved in this you screwed up.

i don't get what the hype behind a movie about a scientist is all about.

does he at least beat the sht out of einstein or something?

reminds me of watching fight club where there were supposed to be a ton of sick fight scenes but it ended up being about a beta who shot himself in the mouth

I'm a Nolan fan, but this one does not have me hyped.
Dunkirk was probably the only Nolan movie I did not like. He should leave the historical drama genre and go back to making high-concept pictures.

I'll watch it when it comes to whatever streaming service I have and probably have to use headphones and leave the subtitles on because his last movie had absolute trash tier sound mixing.
