You actually think humans can compete with AI? In 100 years AI will make einstein look like dustinthehuss

The only thing I cant see AI being able to outcompete humans in is comedy

I think for machines to work it has to be a large conveyor belt type system, with checks & balances at several given set points.
It can't react intuitively. If something comes in wonky from the previous set point, the whole system could fail.
Kind of like a how a car is of no use without a road to drive it on.

First thing to go will be a lot of the computer programmers. Srs I can see it coming.

Seems to me that programmers will be the first to go.
Funny how tradies probably have the safest jobs from AI.....

And what you are talking about is not AI. AI is a term that is really abused today. I don't even consider what Tesla is doing as AI.
At this point I do not consider ChatGPT to be AI.
AI is really some Jetson's sh*t. Eventually we will be there.

ai/robotics is good for replacing single task jobs like assembly lines. but to take over jobs where you have to move around doing various tasks you'd need a wickedly expensive and intricate robot. by the time we get to the point where that is cheaper than jut hiring a trade then humanity will have been taken over anyway

Really thought this thread would be about sex
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
