Does “hair of the dog” work? Should I drink again ?

Drank roughly 15 standard drinks of bourbon last night…slept only like 4 hours and feel like I’m gonna have a panic attack. My heart rate is elevated around 105bpm and I feel like I have a high level of anxiety right now.

I know I won’t be able to fall asleep till night. I feel tired but not sleepy.

Should I have a beer or two? Or wait a couple hours and do some light cardio?

Damn I remember when I was in my early 20s I could drink a whole bottle of whiskey and lift the next morning.

If you're on vacation and on a beach doing nothing, then why not?

If you are at home and still expecting to do things later that day, it's a bad decision. Just go to the gym and sweat it out.

Hell no. That sounds horrible. Your body needs to recover, not take in more poison.

Sounds like you need lots of water, electrolytes, rest and stay off the booze. When you're young you have heart palpations but when you age a bit that can become a heart attack.

Clearly you have a problem.

That problems name is sobriety rearing its ugly head.

Couple of stiff breakfast drinks will clear out the cobwebs and put you back on your feet.

It sounds like you have the kindling effect.

A normal drinker does not have withdrawal symptoms (yes everything you have described above is withdrawal, Not hangover) after 15 units of alcohol.

There is more to the story.

This right here is called alcoholism. If you can’t just have a few, then you know.
