AIR FORCE is broke...
https://www.google.com/amp/s/taskand...ortfall/%3famp
Air Force can't pay for PCS moves or bonuses because of Biden's America.
Go woke... go broke... they spent billions to Ukraine but can't pay bonuses now.
If you support Biden and in the military... you voted for this!! You wanted this!! You deserve this!!!

-The funding shortfall resulted from higher than expected PCS [permanent change of station] costs as a result of inflation and the addition of recruiting and retention bonuses,โ Air Force spokeswoman Ann Stefanek told Task & Purpose.
-In another move, the Air Force has also suspended its Legacy Aviation Bonus Program, which increased the maximum amount of money offered to retain eligible pilots from $35,000 to $50,000.
-Defense Department policy change enacted in September, under which service members receive an allowance one month prior to moving to cover expenses,
-The Air Force has also offered generous retention bonuses โ such as Legacy Aviation Bonus Program โand it has offered financial incentives for recruits, causing personnel costs to creep up, Kuzminski said.
-Another factor driving increases in personnel costs is the increase in military pay, she said. Congress is looking to give troops a 5.2% pay raise in Fiscal Year 2024. That comes after lawmakers gave service members a 4.6% raise for this fiscal year โ the largest pay raise in 20 years but still below the inflation rate.

I've always said this: it should be a minimum requirement that in order to run for president you MUST have SOME military service experience.
Since our dementia in chief took office, the Taliban took over Afghanistan, Putin is taking over Ukraine, and CHYNA is threatening Taiwan.
Nobody should be surprised by this.

I contend that 2008 was the end of America's superpower status. History will mark that date as the beginning of the end. A superpower's Air Force wouldn't be broke

A few years ago a veteran interviewee said recruitment would plummet. When you teach people your country is evil, no one will defend it. Now that it IS evil, no one wants any part of it.

Interesting. That might be another answer to a recent family mystery.
A daughter of a cousin of mine was turned down by the AirForce recently. The reason give is that she didn't pass an examine. It has family members wondering about that though. She is a bright girl. She has the capabilities and intelligence to pass such tests. Some have wondered if she purposely did poorly on the tests. That seems unlikely though. It was her idea to try and join the Air Force. Females in the family seem to think that she was turned down by the AirForce for being to attractive and possibly a distraction.
I guess a new theory is that the Air Force has run out of money.
Regardless it is the Air Forces loss. i hear she is now sighing up to become an airline attendant. Attractive smart females are desired there I imagine. You never know though in todays woke DEI age.

I'm a USAF brah and can tell you first hand our retention numbers tanked when a certain shot became mandatory and even worse now with Biden in office because service members do not want to move because they cannot afford housing anymore. COLA and Housing allowances are not reflecting current costs of living.
Military pay also isn't keeping pace with private-sector jobs or benefits (military recently axed pensions in case ya'll didn't see).
Hopefully they just retire me because of my heart issues, likely due to said mandatory shot...

It really started changing during the Obama administration when an emphasis was put on fast-tracking women and minorities through the officer ranks. Merit was pretty much thrown out the window.
That has now morphed into a system where if you want to be promoted, you need to check a whole lot of woke boxes. The last few years have gotten really bad in the Air Force. They are purging out a lot of the upper officer ranks of white male Colonels and Generals. 'Loss of Confidence' seems to be the go to weapon being used clear out the unwanted. I am not a dooms-day-er, but I honestly believe that if we ever get into a REAL war, we are fuked.

The US military wastes so much fking money moving people around 24/7 anyways. They need to learn to be more efficient. Ask any military brat and theyโll say they moved to like 20 diff schools. What other career does this?? It makes no sense
