Yes the reason is because male models exist to model clothes, and they want to show how their clothes look on the normal young healthy population (who are slim)

Girls probably didn’t like you at 220 because 220 is huge, so chances are unless you’re 6’5 you were significantly over 12% bf (fat), and lacked the frame to carry that much mass in an aesthetic way. Aka you looked like a bloatlord

I’d add in the “Women like confident men” idea. It’s just not true in my experience. I see some of the hottest chicks, consistently, dating these dudes that make you wonder wtf is the sloot thinking.

I may make a thread on this. + when I was 119lb, and had no confidence whatsoever, I had an easier time dating.

The biggest Ive been is 245 when I was a power fat coper. but I still had somewhat visible abs

now Im 220lb. In college I was 170-205 and was slaying the most at 170-180 cause women had lower standards years ago. body made no difference then or now

I was more so trying to hammer on the point about confidence. I used to reek of low confidence and anxiety, and my social skills were horrible; yet, girls seemed to find me approachable I guess.

I am not saying that a good physique will ever compensate for lack of handsome face, height, or being Indian. I am saying all things equal, being jacked (most importantly 12% bf or below) does help with girls
