While he’d be better suited as a heal, have to give Cody props for getting over so much. To be able to rep the red, white and blue and say God bless, while still being a face these days? That’s impressive when thinking about today’s average wrestling viewer.

so with everything you just said why would he be better suited as a heel? he's fantastic as the good guy babyface. it's so rare to see that type of character actually get 100% over with the audience. every basic babyface over the last decade or more has gotten mixed reactions in most big cities at best.

i'm sure Cody will do the heel turn thing eventually and his whole politician act will certainly draw the boos from the crowd but i can't say he's better off that way when what he's doing right now is so immensely successful
