Are You Happy With Your Life?
Just taking an anonymous poll to see how many bros are or aren’t happy.
The question isn’t did you have a good, or bad day. The question is in general are you happy with life currently?
I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting and although I have a lot of good things in my life such as health, decent income, a stable family, etc. I am happy, but not because of these things. I realized after thinking about it for many days that I am actually happy with myself, and who I am. I think this goes hand in hand with being able to appreciate things and helps me out in all areas of life.
This isn’t the cope happiness either. That’s delusion. The reason for the thread is that even though I’ve been okay financially, and socially, and luckily health wise for a while I don’t think I used to be happy.
I don’t offer solutions ITT, as I believe each person has their own journey or path, and it would be extremely presumptions of me to think what I did would be the same for others.

I am thankful to God that I have a good paying job, good friends, good childhood, and parents that stayed together.
However I currently see the failing of western society all around me. People are godless, selfish, greedy, sinful. Usa has become the very thing it sought to destroy, communist. Im seeing evil actors sell this country out to china. Our leaders molest children on epsteins island. My generation will never be able to afford a home due to an inflationary fiat debt based currency system. Our food is poisoned with microplastics soy corn syrup and seed oils. Men have to work 5x as hard for women that arent worth half of what their mothers are
The west has truly fallen. And it will take a crusade or jihad to save this country srs. No amount of self help will matter when everything around you is failing. Thats not a world worth living in.
I am thankful to God that I have a good paying job, good friends, good childhood, and parents that stayed together.

The only reason I am confident saying yes is because I make a sincere attempt to be the person I want to be.
I actively work on ensuring my behavior aligns with my core values and beliefs regardless of the situation.
I stopped lying to myself about my selfish bullchit and made a commitment to change.

The fact I implemented it in my behavior and thinking is where I find the ability to love myself.
Sometimes I have to remind myself, but that gets easier.
I don’t view the world with the subjective values of good and bad.

So I do not have good days or bad days. I have days. That is the best I can ask for, that is exactly what I receive consistently, and that is an amazing gift.

No, but I'm also not unhappy with it, I just know it could look much better based on a vision I have.

Yeah, I mean things have gone pretty well. I'm already a lot more successful and have done many things in life that I never expected to do.
Wish I could rid my life of the few crazy people who I'm forced to deal with daily though. They really make things more challenging.

Huh... so some posters ITT, external forces outside your control make you unhappy.
I don't know these feels. I feel compassion for the brokenness of the world, but it has no effect on my happiness.
There's a saying, if you can't change the world, be the change you want to see in the world. Don't like degeneracy? Don't be a degenerate. Volunteer your time, donate money, help people, etc.
