Is Cart Pusher the GOAT job?

- Easy as fuk
- Can get high and nobody would care
- Decent pay

A cart pusher moves carts around a shopping center, grocery store, or an airport. In this career, your primary duties are to gather carts that customers have left in the parking lot or near an airplane terminal and return them to a centralized location where more customers can access them

I did that when I was a teenager at a grocery store and no thats not the move unless you got the machine like walmart that pushes the carts for you but even still its a no for me dogg.

It was a role of the "courtesy clerk" position. When not pushing carts you checked prices, cleaned spills/messes and stocked shelves.
In the summer months you'd go out for just long enough to get sweaty and then back into the a/c or freezers then rinse/repeat. It seemed like I got sick way too much and that didn't help.
In winter months its damn hard to push a single cart through any accumulated snow so you can imagine how fun that is.

I used to make 28 an hour, time and a half on Sundays, 6 weeks paid vacation, great benefits when I did it at Costco. But I had worked there for years doing alot of stuff.

It was easy mentally but not physically, summers were brutal, my shoes would melt on the asphalt. Drinking gallons of water every day walking 30k steps in 95 degrees with 80 percent humidity lol. Most summer days I would get home from work and be so exhausted I couldn't do chit.

But yeah I used to get high as **** and listen to audio books and podcasts alot, it was pretty dope, but also destroyed my body in and out of work.

Also the woes of retail come along with it, and Costco sells a ton of furniture so there would be alot of time loading uhauls and chit, which was annoying as hell.

Did that job at Home Depot when I was 19. You push carts outside all day and help people load their cars with merchandise. It was pretty relax. Keeps you fit.
