I was actually thinking this the other day.

I have some really big things going on in business right now, and it's mostly because I have absolutely no competition. My advantage is that I can work back channels behind the scenes better than anybody, but when the market is hot there are a bunch of people out there in front of them, so I don't really have time to work my magic. But now, I'm the only one in front of them and capable of hustling(although the rewards for hustling really aren't that great short term).

So if you're a person capable of slow playing things in the absence of competition, the rewards are massive right now. And there are zero people starting now as well.

In marketing they call this red ocean vs blue ocean.... Not a new concept...
