Discuss stuff you've gotten cheap on, and stuff you've gotten less so on
Deoderant - Got cheaper on this. I was buying more expensive stuff for a long time, like Dove for men. Got sick of paying like $8 /bar though, so I've been buying those $7 Old Spice twin packs. Aluminum of assss.
Electric razors - Got less cheap on. Used to use cheaper end electric razors and would shave almost exclusively with cartridge razors and shave cream for the longest time. Bit the bullet and spent like $110 on a nice electric recently, and it's amazing. Gets me a pretty close shave twice as fast and with less than half the irritation of cheap electrics or running blades directly across my skin.

Cheaper on clothes except for a few select items - thrift stores are often places to get great finds for 25% of the price of buying new.

Cheaper on sunglasses. I’ve lost so many expensive pairs of sunglasses bro that I just buy cheapies now because it’s only a matter of time before I lose them or break them
Less cheap on personal hygiene type stuff (face wash, face creams, soap, shampoo, trimmers, etc) I’ll be 36 this year so keeping as young of a look as possible has become pretty important

Besides price comparison shopping I can't say I've gotten cheaper on stuff. Clothes wise I've always tried to buy good quality since it'll last longer. I have clothes and coats that are 10-15 years old that still look brand new. For me I've just gotten more frugal and look for the best deals I can find. I turn my bottles upside down when stuff starts running out to get every last drop out. lol

I’ve learned to spend more upfront for quality. I’ve gotten more expensive on tools, and clothes but have needed up saving money since I don’t have to buy them as often.
Cheaper on food, I grow and raise 90% of what I eat now.

Went from $10 black tees to about $20-$30 black tees from good companies. The quality is just way better.
I used to go to Old Navy for plain T's of various colors. They used to be awesome, but then about 10 years ago or so they bastards started making them like 30% polyester. Absolute harem, I need 100% cotton for my shirts.

It also probably doesn't help that virtually any time I've ever heard someone come out to "surprise" everyone by telling them they buy their clothes at thrift stores, it's never surprising at all. It's actually usually pretty obvious.

Cheaper on food if thats possible and much less cheap on vehicle maintenance.
Took me a long time to realize the value of car maintenance.
