How TF is every flight completely full?

Doesn't matter what day/time or how obscure a city you're going to. Every seat is filled. The hell is going on?

I remember flying pre clown world and most flights would be half or 2/3 full. Sometimes you'd have a whole row to your self.

Ive still yet to see more than 1 household bring grocery’s in from the car

In 3 years, it doesn’t make sense

My cul-de-sac road has 40-50 connected houses

Do they have epic underground storage or are they NPC that vanish from earth when out of sight

Clown world leads me to believe its all a scam

Your most likely not real, some of the alts on here make me believe theres 3/4 miscers the rest is AI

I think there is always a lot of demand. They can just reduce the total # of flights to keep them full.

I used to get standby seats a lot easier before covid, now it's typically stressful. Airlines gotta start flying more planes, and airports got to renovate and add more gates

They gave blacks too much in welfare etc. And made flying cheaper so now the entire airport is like a bus station used to be.

I agree, although a lot of it is Covid. When I flew 2 years ago there were hardly any passengers on the flight.

Really? I thought it was just my area. I don't see people bring in groceries yet I bring them in. I think many of the homes are purchased by people in China as investments and remain uninhabited as they don't want to deal with renters, or they are Asians who order groceries, have gardeners and park their cars in garages. I only know my neighbors who are original owners from 1971. The others don't leave their houses. If and when they bring out the garbage they wear masks. It's so weird. Plus we have a great hilly area for walks.

There are less planes, routes, and staff so the ones they have are packed - and if they aren't, they will likely get cancelled.

I've flown from Toronto to Ottawa and had three planes that were supposed to leave two hours apart all combined into one because they weren't full. Delaying the original flight by four hours but of course they don't gaf.

3 of 4 of my recent flights were nearly full. One was half empty. Just depends. I have seen an uptick in degens traveling no doubt.

Seems like less flights, less pilots, more passengers. Ticket prices are up so I guess all that makes sense.

Flights are booked weeks, sometimes months beforehand and very few last minute options.

Airports can easily optimize foot traffic via scheduling.

This ain't no subway where you can randomly show up and board.

lack of staff in all parts of the air travel chain (pilots, ground crew, ATC, attendants, etc) and a rebound (and increase) in demand to pre-covid levels. Takes time for resources to adjust to a quick change in demand. Expect higher prices and more delays

i've had so many flights cancelled and moved to the next flight and i am almost certain that it's due to not filling enough seats to make it worth it for the airline. also on a route i used to fly regularly, i am seeing far fewer options
