In 2023 is country music the simpiest of the simpiest music?

Used to like country music...especially 90s stuff. But nowadays it has become hard to stomach...95% of it is singing about women being perfect angels and a man working his hands to the bone to get/keep one...can't live without her.

Country guys get kicked to the curb a lot nowadays, so this will eventully change.
